As a museum education professional, I initiate, develop, administer, and facilitate strategic initiatives through the lens of experiential programs. My approach utilizes both exhibition interpretation and hands-on making activities to demonstrate the value of creative engagement as a tool for expansive and solution-oriented thinking. Program participants range from the general public, to special needs groups, to institutional partners seeking to address specific corporate challenges. My goal is to transition such program outreach into digital initiatives.
In my role as an Independent Producer/Writer/Director, my niche was to pioneer new concepts and build new audiences by way of highly-targeted outreach. My approach depended on comprehensive thought leadership, extreme attention to detail and organization, extending the reach of what was considered possible, and overseeing all aspects of production with a practice of mutual respect and collaboration with every level of those involved in the production of the project.
By combining these media strategy and museum skills, I seek to advance the digital transformation of the museum engagement experience.
As an experimental project, I am developing an online educational resource focused on the science behind the creative making process and its therapeutic benefits to whole person health and wellness.
