Michele Crowl has been working in the museum field since 2004. Currently, she is the executive director of Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania, a science center and makerspace in State College, PA that she helped to open in 2011. Michele accidentally found and fell in love with the museum world after being unsure about how to use her astrophysics degree. With her team at Discovery Space, engaging experiences are designed from a human-centered perspective, focusing on preK-adult STEM enrichment, career exploration, staff personal and professional development, and mutually-beneficial community partnerships.
