My entire career has been built primarily on two ideals:

1. There isn’t a task in the world that doesn’t benefit from personality and pizzazz.

2. Access to information and opportunity should not be reserved for the world’s elite.

I am always seeking to further expand my knowledge base through networking events, conferences, reading, and educational courses. I'm also very community service driven and strive to collaborate with organizations that understand the importance of corporate philanthropy in the cities they operate in.

In addition to serving as the first African-American President and CEO of the Charlotte Museum of History, I am in the (very early) stages of owning my own distilled spirits company. I am also a doctoral student in the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte
