A graduate in Public Law, Communication Law (Panthéon-Assas), Cultural Heritage Law (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and in Management of Cultural Organizations (Dauphine), Cybèle Panagiotou is an expert in cultural cooperation and international synergies. She has been General Delegate of the Centre Pompidou Accélérations Endowment Fund since October 2018. She was an administrative and legal affairs manager at the Palais de Tokyo from 2007 to 2013, including providing key contributions to the 2012 reopening of the museum. She was Head of Legal Affairs of Agence France-Muséums between 2013 and 2018, with the mission to negotiate the Franco-Emirati agreements for the Louvre Abu Dhabi project, for which she was decorated Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres. Cybèle Panagiotou contributes to a number of research efforts led by cultural professionals, and is regularly invited to discuss sector best practices (CIPAC, OCIM), as well as to speak in institutions including Sciences-Po and Panthéon-Sorbonne on topical subjects such as the restitution of cultural property.
