Hello! Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for an experienced museum professional to develop exhibitions (online and in-person) or education content, host label writing workshops, aid in strategic planning, or teach Museum Studies courses (classes taught: History and Organization of Museums, Curatorship and Collecting, Exhibit Development and Planning, Perspectives on Museums, Interpretation). I am passionate about creating visitor-centered exhibitions and the intersections between art, science, and history. I have worked in the fields of education, collections management, and curatorial at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, California Academy of Sciences, Autry Museum of the American West (where I served as lead curator for the largest renovation in the institution's history), and most recently led the "start-up" phase of the new Global Museum at San Francisco State University as Director. I also currently serve as President of Cultural Connections, a volunteer board of Bay Area museum, arts, and culture professionals.
