Digitized objects for online access for researchers and the general public.

Worked with a wide variety of objects including Egyptian animal mummies, mid-19th century Native American objects from the Lewis H. Morgan collection, and 19th century patent medicine bottles.

Used an automated turntable and digital SLR camera on an angled arm to produce a 360-degree, 3D image of each object.

George Eastman Legacy Collection Volunteer 10/2014-Present

 

Research various ideas for increasing attendance, study interactive family programs at other museums and historic sites.

Assist researchers in the George Eastman Study Center with research materials.

Developed and implemented an exhibit on the Eastman Dental Dispensaries which opened in the summer of 2016.

Answer research questions from around the world about George Eastman, the history of Eastman Kodak, and the restoration of the historic landmark home and gardens.

Researched Native American Human remains and funeral objects in the museum collection records for potential repatriation under NAGPRA, researched and documented individual artifacts using museum records and publications.

Organized, recorded, and re-numbered Ralph Strong Collection: Prehistoric New York State Native American artifacts (arrowheads, stone tools, earthenware pottery, lithe flakes, jewelry).

Developed an Excel spreadsheet for the Alexander Lewis Southwest Ceramic Collection.
