Meg Pugsley is a innovative and passionate educator and communicator who is especially interested in the ways in which environmental education can combat today's youth mental health crisis. She gained experience through her internship in Environmental Events Internship at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences where she continues to work as a Contract Education Staff Member. She is currently the Public Communications and Outreach Specialist for the Genetics and Genomics Academy at NC State University. She discovered her passion for informal, youth science and natural education mentorship opportunities through Girl Scouts of America as well as NC State's Living and Learning program in the EcoVillage.
