Lydia Degn-Sutton is passionately pursuing a career in the museum field. She has 5+ years of professional experience in collections management, repatriation, curation, and exhibit development. Some of her previous work has focused on NAGPRA implementation and intercultural curation.

Lydia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from North Carolina State University in 2015 and a Master of Arts in Anthropology, concentrating in Museum & Heritage Studies, from the University of Denver in 2021.

Lydia is excited to begin her post-graduate degree career. She is actively seeking opportunities to work with institutions that are engaging in decolonizing and collaborative models of museum practice.
