As the Exhibits Project Manager at Boston Children's Museum I managed external museum exhibits projects, including scheduling, logistics, recordkeeping, timelines, reviewing exhibit plans, and budgeting. My notable Exhibits Projects were: Boston Children’s Museum Waterfront Initiative and All Aboard!, Creative Corner, and Let’s Play! at Science City at Union Station in Kansas City, MO. I oversaw logistics for both internal exhibits, including new exhibits and older exhibit updates/renovations and other museum initiatives. I also coordinated logistics for external Consulting Projects, including database management of consulting requests and acted as the point of contact for consulting requests. My notable Consulting Projects: Qatar Children’s Museum in Doha, Qatar and Advent Preschool in Shenzhen, China. In addition, I managed the Museum’s Traveling Exhibit Program, including booking venues, negotiating payment schedules, facilitating contract signing, arranging shipping, sharing educational and programming materials, approving venue marketing materials, and troubleshooting issues once the exhibit arrived on location. I was also able to try me hand at marketing the Boston Children’s Museum’s Traveling Exhibits program via email blasts to curated listservs and exhibiting at industry conferences (NEMA, ACM, and ASTC) to drive up interest.

While at the Patriots Hall of Fame I oversaw research, planning, budgeting, and implementation of one large temporary exhibit and to 7-8 smaller pop-up exhibits per year. My notable Exhibits were: The Super Bowl Experience, New England Strong, The Birth of Pat Patriot, The Fabric of Football, Crucial Catch, Salute to Service, Football in Space, and The NFL Draft. I coordinated temporary traveling displays with Kraft Group business partners featuring objects from the museum’s collection. I also maintained permanent exhibits and the rotation of displayed objects. I managed all incoming and outgoing loan and gift agreements while establishing and maintaining donor relations. I was able to create an organizational system for the collection using Past Perfect and began digitally preserving objects and archival materials. This work also included implementing American Alliance of Museums standard practices in collection care.
