I am a material culture historian with expertise in facilitating connections to art and history through object-based experiences and storytelling. I have experience in preservation, curation, large-scale research projects, collections management, donor events, project management, architectural history, and visitor engagement.
I have worked worked in museums since 2012, most recently as a historian and curator. I also have experience as a donor engagement specialist and curatorial fellow, and consider research, object analysis, and visitor engagement to be my strongest skills.
I hold a master's degree in American Material Culture; a BA in Art History (concentration: Classical Civilization); and a GIA AJP (GG in progress). I have expertise in antique jewelry history, and wrote my MA thesis about men's jewelry in the 19th and 20th centuries. On a volunteer basis, I have worked on several projects related to medical history and forensic genealogy.
