As the director of communications at UNC-Chapel Hill's Ackland Art Museum, I spent eight years writing and editing all of the museum's promotional and marketing materials, including its website, press releases, and social media posts. My favorite task in that position was copyediting the museum's publications, newsletters, wall texts, and gallery guides.
Since 2018, I have been a freelance editor specializing in museum materials and art history books, dissertations, and articles. I provide a wide range of services, from copyediting to line editing to developmental editing. I also edit marketing materials for businesses and institutions, and personal statements and other application materials for individuals.
