An events and partnerships leader recognized for creating and executing meaningful experiences and community-based engagement opportunities between the public and museums.
My roles have ranged from Assistant Director of Public Events, to Assistant Director of Outreach Initiatives, to Licensed Professional Counselor. I bring a unique set of experience and relationship development skills to any organization. I'm valued by my employers for my tenacity, work ethic, and creativity. I thrive in fast-paced environments within creatively and mission driven organizations.
Most recently I was the Assistant Director of Public Events for The Franklin Institute where I led a nine-day, 60+ event, region-wide festival; I had a critical support role in the development team raising $600,000 each year to pay for it, and I leveraged my team management skills to direct the team responsible for producing 115 events each year. Additionally, I engaged 200 partners—corporations, universities, cultural institutions, non-profits—in support of museum mission and goals.
As a former therapist, I have a unique set of "soft" skills when it comes to working with people in a professional setting. I am a natural motivator, who can align her drive for success with team and executives.
I pride myself on my passion for creative problem solving, empowering teams, collaborating with stakeholders and delivering solid programs for partners and event attendees.
