I am an Independent Curator and Doctoral Candidate in Art History skilled in researching and interpreting artwork for various audiences through my writing and speaking engagements. My practice is object-focused and I have conducted field and archival research both domestically and abroad. I am experienced analyzing Western art and material culture including European and American painting and sculpture, Old Master drawings & prints, and generally works on paper from the Renaissance to the present. I seek to be in conversation with the community about artwork, sharing my research and learning more about objects through other viewers, to better understand and jointly appreciate our world. I am writing my dissertation ("Volterrano as a Draftsman: Style, Technique & Connoisseurship of Drawings in Seicento Florence") while seeking part-time, full-time or contractual employment with an art museum. Open to relocation or remote work.
