Dana Mitroff Silvers is the Founder + Principal of Designing Insights, a San Francisco Bay Area-based human-centered design consultancy that helps museums build innovation, define strategy, and creatively chart the future. Dana develops and facilitates workshops and meetings, trains teams in design thinking and service design methods, and conducts research to inform visitor programs and services.

 

Her clients include the J. Paul Getty Trust, National Gallery of Art, Newark Museum of Art, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and the Wallace Foundation.

 

Dana is a former former faculty member in the Museum Leadership Institute at Claremont Graduate University (formerly the Getty Leadership Institute) and the former head of web and digital at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
