As a recent graduate, I am excited to forge new pathways for learning with local communities. I am currently the Sacerdote Post-Baccalaureate Fellow in Museum Education at Smith College Museum of Art where I have worked on interpretive planning for exhbitions, K-12 and Undergraduate cirriculum design, and am completing a two year capstone project on implimenting community voice labels as a standrard practice into university museums. Previously, I have worked at ICA Boston as a Gallery Operator managing Visitor Education and Excpirence Assistants, giving tours, and working with AV equipment alongside artists on view. In my undergraduate career at UMass Amherst I worked at a co-op gallery called the Student Union Art Gallery where I curated shows with student and working artists, installed shows in our space, and developed public programming for our campus audience. I earned one B.A. in Communications and Media Studies with a concentration in Impacts of Mass Media and another Bachelors Degree with Individual Concentration in Film Studies Concentrating in Experimental Video Production. I am particularly interested in site-specific work, communIity-driven projects, and best practices for video and film interpretation. I look forward to connecting with other museum professionals as my career moves forward and am thrilled to see what comes next!
