I offer more than two decades of experience driving engagement with lifelong learners of all ages. I believe that learning can happen anywhere and at any time, and I have always enjoyed finding ways to share knowledge for others to explore. In my early career, that led me to work in the field of translation, producing content that could be shared across languages and cultures. Upon entering the museum world, I immensely enjoyed developing content in STEAM disciplines for audiences of all types. Eventually, I moved into my most recent role as the director of a university-based museum specifically so I could be in a position to mentor the next generation of museum professionals. Through all of these roles, a consistent thread has been my work in science communication and online initiatives. This has included websites, content management systems, e-learning, and more. One of my passions is literacy and access to reading resources, and I have a particular interest in how technology can serve those needs. Aside from my professional work, I am honored to have served as a volunteer for a wide variety of community organizations, donating my time and skills in project management, communications, and technology.
