Fueled by a love of science, culture, and exploration, Britt is all too familiar with wearing many hats as a museum professional from supervising Guest Services staff, special exhibits program coordination, to special/traveling exhibits, exhibit development, and research. Over the last 4 years Britt has worked full time and attended University full time, all while juggling the responsibilities of being a single mother. Britt received her BA in Anthropology this past summer, and plans to begin graduate studies in Fall 2021. Recent social events surrounding anti-racism have inspired Britt to expand her advocacy for breaking down systemic racial bias in order to create a more equitable working environment. Recently, Britt along with a few colleagues developed and curated a series of discussions surrounding the topic of anti-racist practices. Open to expanding her connections with like-minded professionals in a continuous pursuit of career growth, Britt works with various entities consulting and freelancing on special traveling exhibit projects, and is currently consulting on a research project with a local non-profit cultural museum titled "Exploring Archival Activism".
