Blake Wigdahl is the founder and principal of Process Curiosity, an experiential design & fabrication firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Process Curiosity supports clients on everything from strategic and master planning, full-scale immersive and interactive design & fabrication, and owner's representation on large-scale projects. Blake has experience in for-profit and non-profit sectors as a design anthropologist, tinkerer, exhibit fabricator, and educator, and is perpetually curious about design thinking (human-centered design). Blake brings to his work a deep understanding of best practices in designing and operating immersive and interactive experiences in all types of informal learning environments, including art and science, living collections, outdoor nature/gardens, interactive indoor/outdoor exhibits, thematic environments, amusement parks, and animal enclosures. Previous work has led to playful work at great institutions, including the Exploratorium, The Tech Interactive, Thanksgiving Point Institute, Museum of the Rockies, the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Disney, Universal, Las Vegas Casinos, tech companies, cities, and universities. As an experienced designer and C-level executive, his passion is looking for ways to design meaningful experiences, spaces, and products with double bottom line ROI – financial and social impact.
