I have experience with transcription, object research, visitor services-based work, collections, freelance historic database research, policy development, and am all around handy with a search engine. I also know some XML and have experience writing collections management policies and creating forms for collections management. The latter two were for the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor's Center.

Recently I have been volunteering as a collections assistant for Fencing Arms & Artifacts, cataloging their collections and metadata online using Omeka and Dublin Core.

I am also looking for more experience in digital preservation and metadata-based opportunities, volunteer or otherwise if that is available.
