What does inclusive representation look like in practice? How we go beyond words and take meaningful steps. About the event
Museumexpert.org is eager to contribute to conversations and movements that ensure concrete measures and practices are put in action. We invite you to a conversation with museum professionals as they interrogate the practice of traditional “beginning to end” hiring and how we can evolve to go beyond checkbox initiatives that don’t advance towards equity. Featured community voices will also provide questions you can explore with your own teams and examples of how to better understand inclusion as a practice that can lead to authentic representation of the many communities that make up your organization. We look forward to a challenging and important dialog.
