About the event

MuseumExpert.org will bring together some of the main actors who have strongly advocated for new actions, in particular regarding the immigrant population. Immigrants are museum visitors, their children go to schools that visit our institutions, and museum staff have family members directly targeted by ICE and other police forces.


Panelists:

Leticia Rhi Buckley Leticia is a mom, wife, and the daughter of Mexican immigrants, born and raised in East Los Angeles. Her journey has fueled her career in developing programs and shaping public policy that bridges the gap between historically under-resourced communities and the arts. As the Chief Executive Officer of LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, she leads a cultural center and museum that is a testament to the resilience, contributions, and accomplishments of Latinx people and Latino culture in Los Angeles.
