I am academically trained in the USA. I obtained an PhD in Art History, specializing in Chinese Art, and an M.A. in Japanese and Western Art History. I have more than a decade of professional experiences as an university faculty and curator at art museums both in the USA and Taiwan. I was also once a museum director for the Richard M. Ross Art Museum at Ohio Wesleyan University, where I carried out exhibitions focusing on the modern and contemporary American art and students' exhibitions.

I have a solid training in East Asian Art History, and have done some filed works in these countries. I also have a broad knowledge in American and European art.

I generated at least twelve original exhibitions in my curatorial role and carried out seven of them. I also oversaw renovations of four art galleries, acquired more than 200 objects in modern and contemporary Japanese art, Islamic manuscripts, and paintings.
