Eric Havel worked for more than 22 years in informal education at the Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland, California. He has a degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley and is passionate about program development, management, education and teaching, especially on the topics of earth science, climate change, renewable energy, and sustainability. He has extensive experience supervising staff teams, designing and delivering K-college programs, writing and managing grant projects, and developing and delivering teacher professional development workshops.
